Offering professional instruction in a positive, family-focused environment, our programs provide well-rounded education with emphasis on technique, performance, and an appreciatio

STARZ currently offers classes for both Recreational and Competitive students in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop, Stretching & Conditioning, Technique & Progressions, Contortions, Aerial Silks, Tumbling, Acro, Piano, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory & Acting. Creative, focused, and competitive, our academy is highly dedicated to providing the Two Virginias with proper and exceptional instruction from Teachers Certified through the International Dance Council CID, CLI Studios, Acrobatic Arts, and Acro Dance Teacher's Association.

Looking for something fresh this summer? Join us for Pop-Up Classes with Madi Lucero, July 9 at STARZ!

Madi is a pre-professional assistant with REVEL Dance Convention, where she tours the East Coast assisting and performing alongside some of the industry’s top faculty. She’s trained in prestigious programs including Joffrey, CLI Intensives, REVEL, LA Establishment, Intrigue, and more—and now she’s bringing that experience to STARZ!

Meet our Choreographer!

My name is Lyndzee Metz, and I’m from Princeton, West Virginia. I’m 20 years old and have been dancing since I was two and a half years old. Dance has always been a huge part of my life and has helped shape who I am today. I’m currently a member of the Concord University Dance Team, where I continue to grow as both a performer and teammate. Along with dancing, I teach classes at Starz Performing Arts Academy and love being able to share my passion with younger dancers. I also recently started choreographing pieces, which has allowed me to become even more creative and expressive through dance. I’m really looking forward to working with Sara and Josh!
