Kansas City Movement and Amber, Rachael and Rachel would like to acknowledge and honor their beloved Aunt Leanne Hester Pritchett who passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 from complications of SARS COV 2. Leanne loved the dance program and especially our productions with which she contributed her talents and skills to from the very first one 20 years ago when she put together the printed program. She and her talented daughters Hannah and Josie Pritchett have labored many long hours over head pieces and accessories for costumes over the years. We love you Leanne and are blessed by the vision of you dancing your way to Heaven.

Attention advance and intermediate dancers! We have a special artist teaching a musical theatre master class this Tuesday, May, 4th @6:30pm-7:30pm. Kansas City Movement is happy to have Aaron Patrick Craven share his gifts with us!

Aaron grew up in Kansas City and earned his BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Wichita State University. He has toured all over the country and overseas, and now calls NYC home! Favorite credits include the Off-Broadway Revival of A Chorus Line, the National Tours of Dirty Dancing (Johnny Castle), and A Chorus Line (Zach). Friends! Our dancers are performing 3 pieces this evening for Voices Of Courage! There is a live stream as well as in person attendance. All proceeds go for this cause!!

A Chance To Dance has raised over 110,000 in 15 years for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

Classes resume today! We are still in the midst of some building renovations.Our water fountain will be out of service today.There is also wet sheetrock mud near restrooms and lounge.Please avoid these areas.

🌷Spring forward and don’t forget next week is Spring break, March 15-19. There will be no classes held during this time.

🌷We will be doing more renovations to the building during the break! Can’t wait for you all to see the progress!!
