SOLD •Turtle • 8x10 • I’ve had a few people ask several questions, so here’s a little more about my art.

I am inspired by the flora and fauna of my home state of Mississippi. I create originally designed black outline drawings using an Apple Pencil on my iPad. Each drawing is hand rendered, just as you would on paper. I start with a pencil sketch and gradually add layers of black. Once finished, I print the black outline drawing to create a printed image and then use a combination of watercolors, prismacolors and graphite to add color and extra details (all of my designs have extra fine pencil lines that I add in this process) by hand. Because of this, each hand painted print is a little different. I can also create prints of originals using an awesome new printer that I purchased, upon request. Each finished piece is either on 8x10 or 11x14 watercolor paper and has a thick white border surrounding the design. Prints of my artwork can also be purchased at the Eudora Welty House & Garden, Union County Heritage Museum and the Museum Store at the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and the Museum of Mississippi History.
