Ok Stilton family. Aren't we a bunch of doers at the last minute spur of the moment kind of people? I am trying to get the word out about our upcoming family reunion. Saturday, September 5th, 2015 - yes this year, we are planning to get together at Jack Stiltons house for food, fun, food, frollicking, food. Ok, about the food part - Jack wants to set up a few grills and everyone bring something to throw on it. Preferably dead meat of some kind! Beef, hot dogs, steaks ( if you can feed the whole clan ) shish k bobs, chicken, ribs, you get the idea. And we need fixins to go with that so bring salads, veges, taters, maters, beans, corn, casseroles, etc. And the dead meat toppings, condiments, well you know ketchup, mustard, onions, pickles, mayo, etc. And we could use some junk food like chips and dips, snack stuff as it should be an all day come and go at will kind of day. You will not be confined, locked up, detained or otherwise sentenced and there will be no hangings or execusions.- this is a fun thing to do. So, with that said, let's get back to the food part. We need sodas and tea and lemonaide and water and things to drink. And of course we need deserts like cakes, pies, banana pudding, jello, cookies... etc. And it really would be a shame if there are no paper products like plates, napkins, silverware, etc as we need to put all this food on something so we can sit and eat properly like educated folks. Now, I've heard from absolutely no one so you guys are going to have to help me get the word out and then we need to comment about what we are all planning to bring so we don't wind up with 50 - 75 rib eyes and no hot dogs! That would be sad. As for the entertainment and things to do part, well seems we have a real delima. Half of the family seems to want to come, and half, for whatever reason does not. Kinda like the Hatfields and McCoys. So there will be tug of war, arm wresting, dodge ball, and walk the plank. That should take some hostility out of you guys, then we can do some other kinds of fun such as horse shoes, ladder ball, bad mitten, volleyball, and other such tame games. There will be door prizes! Ok, wait, there has been a change of venue! I'll be back with the details!
