What's happening to our water? It's once again being sought after to be sent south for farming. While we definitely require food, it's time to change the way we farm. Woody Harrelson is helping farmers achieve this in sustainable ways. Watch his documentary, Kiss the Ground. You can watch it on Amazon Prime.

Also, Save the American River Association, Inc. (SARA), Friends of the River and others are paying attention and advocating for our water to continue its natural flow west. Visit SARA to see how you can help.

After a decade of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, we need to expand our vision for water-friendly land in the Golden State.

Spiritual Leaders from around the world gather at the International Peace Palace to unite in their mission for clean water for everyone. In the run-up to this event, we have been on several pilgrimages to various holy water sources to collect said water. During our event, we will livestream the ceremony of merging and blessing the collected water. You are very welcome to join us online by claiming your FREE spot via our website.

A WORLD WATER DAY MESSAGE FROM MONA POLACCA 💧

We live in water in our mother’s womb. Moments before we come into this world, the water of our mother’s womb gushes out, and we follow behind. That is why the Hopi call water our first foundation of life.

It is no coincidence that the Earth has the same percentage of water as the human body does.

It is also not a coincidence that, as the sacred waters of the planet - Mother Earth’s blood - are becoming dangerously polluted, we are at the same time forgetting our innate connection to the Sacred Universe, the only understanding that will save us.

If we consciously greet the water as we drink and bathe in it, for instance, we begin to have a relationship with water.

We know the Creator can bless us with answers through water. That element can help us with understanding. The more we honor and feel gratitude toward water, the greater the assistance we will receive from it in our lives.

Because of our connection to the elements, we also have the capacity to heal the waters, just as the waters can heal us.

Quantum physics is proving what indigenous people have known all along, that prayer can change the pollution in the waters. The Grandmothers pray every day for the waters of the Earth to become purified again.

Water Blessing from the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers:

Instructions

💧Prepare a bowl of clean water or stand beside a body of water.

💧Please pray for the water in apology; for polluting and disrespect. Then offer prayers of love, gratitude and respect.

💧Hold both of your hands toward the water, from your heart your energy will be projected into the water through your hands. You can close your eyes during this process.

💧Please intend that the vibrations, which now fill the water, will spread to the waters all over our Mother Earth.

💧You may also add your own prayer to the water, meditation, chanting, music, songs, dancing, and so on, intending the same purpose.

💧Pour a little bit of the water in your hand, with a loving thought, sprinkle a little water away from you (as in spreading seeds), then drink the remaining water with a feeling of gratitude.

We thank all those who join us as we pray for the life of water for our future generations.

Happy World Water Day!

Mona Polacca, a water protector from the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmother council, has a message for all humans to hear:

"Greetings my relatives.

I come to you today, thinking about this wonderful creation, this divine element, water, to take time out to acknowledge it and its most powerful gift that it gives to us, this life-giving element.

We live inside water in our mother's womb, and taking time out to acknowledge that we come from the water, that the water is such a wonderful, wonderful loving representation of our Mother, the Earth, and our Father Sky, the Sun. I'm so grateful for it.

And you know there is no life without water, and it must be shared among all humanity and all other life beings.

We cannot buy rain... The rainwater that replenishes the bodies of water on our Mother, the Earth, that we survive on as well as all the plant life, the animal life, the four-legged, the winged, the ones who live in the water.

All of these beings that we share life with on this Mother Earth. None of us can create the water, and it's time for us to acknowledge that there is only so much water and so much time that we have to stop destroying our Mother Water.

We have future generations that are yet to come, the ones that we will not see.
We must think about them.

Look into the eyes of your children.
And when I say your children, I don't just mean your blood children. I mean, all of the children of the world who all have the right to good, safe, clean drinking water, and the right to make sure that the waters will be available for the coming generations that they will pass on, this love and sacred relationship that we have with our Mother, the Water.

I offer blessings to all the water bodies throughout the world, on the surface and within our Mother, the Earth. The rivers, lakes, streams, springs, all of these bodies of water, many that we do not even see, but they too contribute to our existence on Mother Earth and contribute to the life of our Mother, the Earth, and all other life beings on Mother Earth.
