Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra

Two cities. One great orchestra. The Orchestra gave its first performance on July 5th, 1987 as the Blue Ash Symphony, under the direction of Paul Stanbery.

It presented concerts on Memorial Day, Labor Day and the first Sunday of December. The city of Montgomery became a co-sponsor in 2002, engaging the Orchestra to perform additional shows on July 3rd and the second Sunday in February.

Erin is a versatile soprano who has performed opera, music theatre, and oratorio performances to great success across the United States.

"Sunrise, Sunset"

Our Labor Day weekend concert features selections that evoke the rhythms of a day. The journey includes:

Grieg’s "Morning Mood" from Pier Gynt
Dolly Parton’s anthem "9 to 5"
Dmitri Tiomkin’s "High Noon Symphonic Suite"
Debussy’s "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun"
Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain"
"Memory" from Cats

🌳Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us at Tom Stone Amphitheater in the Blue Ash Nature Park on Sunday, September 6.
🍔 Concession stand opens at 6pm.
🎵 Concert begins at 7pm

🎟FREE! Please register for your FREE tickets at bamso.ludus.com. This allows us to contact you about venue changes in the event of inclement weather. Rain location is Blue Ash Rec Center. It also helps us gather information about our audience for granting organizations.
