Beechnut Update*** Unfortunately after meeting Mr. Tucker and looking into what all it will take to get the track going successfully again, the guys that were looking to open it have decided that more is needed than what they are able to put into it at this time. (FYI- I am just the messenger and any bashing posts will be deleted).

***UPDATE*** The new "potential" Promotor/Track Owner of Beechnut Raceway wants everyone to know that the meeting Saturday with the land owner went very well. Things are moving forward. He wants to be sure to go about re-opening the track the right way and is meeting with many of the people who have been a part of making Beechnut Raceway what it was in its prime. He wants to be sure to cover all of his bases so if he decides to open it, that it has the best potential possible to be a mutual success for the kart racers and the track. Beechnut News!!!! There is an interested promoter meeting with the land owner tomorrow to discuss possibly leasing or purchasing the land to reopen the track. He is looking to bring kart racing back to the Tri-Cities on the local, regional and national level. He wants to hear from all of you to see that there is still interest in racing at Beechnut Raceway. Let's hear from you...

As Administrator of this page, I am now taking over full control of this page from the last person that has tried to run the track, in an effort to preserve this page and the over 2500 people it has connection to (likes). I created this page back when I helped with track PR, several years ago and have remained involved and administrator until the latest promoter. I was not involved in the last effort to run the track and do not know if the track is still under lease or if any plans are in place. There has been ZERO communication about the track or any of it's plans in over 2 months. My latest attempts to communicate with latest promoter have either resulted in no returned reply or a text saying "I'm trying". If someone shows a valiant effort/attempt to successfully run Beechnut again, they are more than welcome to this page and the many Kart Racers it has communication with. I hate to see Beechnut Raceway sit dormant, as it is one of the best dirt kart tracks in America. Many great racers have either gotten their start at Beechnut Raceway or have made stops here as they've progressed through their racing career. I hope that one day it will be up and running again. As bad as we all wanted to hv practice this weekend it's not going to happen sorry we have tried weather is not permitting us to do so please help spread the word thank you all and hope everyone has a great weekend

Practice / swap meet March 5 gates will open at 11 with weather permitting with all bad weather we have had track is bad not saying we can't get it fixed but weather is going to have to get alot better hopefully we can get the season. Started back up soon we will keep everyone informed thanks Vance

We will have six pionts races this year at Beechnut Raceway it will be Tennessee all star Burris series races we will kick year off in March. Thanks for everyone support hope to see you
