I got my first tattoo yesterday.

It's highly symbolic for me.

Caterpillars enclose themselves in a chrysalis and turn completely to goo before they can emerge as beautiful butterflies.

I've had more than my fair share of "goo" phases in my life. The most recent one has been especially long and rough. But I'm coming out of it okay, or better. As I always do 🙂

The two lilies represent my daughters. See the second image for an explanation as to why I chose stargazer lilies.

Edited to add: it's my drawing, but the artist did an amazing job creating the stencil and bringing it to life.

We had the absolute pleasure of joining WDVR for a radio segment to talk all things Hunterdon County World Fair! 🌎✨ (Link to listen here- https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/qecH19Cpjr26 !)

Not only was it such a fun and exciting experience to be on the radio, but we are also so happy to welcome WDVR back to the World Fair with a booth again this year!

What they are doing through their station is truly something special. WDVR continues to bring people together, share local voices, support community stories, and keep that small-town connection alive in such a meaningful way.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share a little bit about the World Fair and even more grateful to support WDVR and the wonderful work they do for our community.
