Neal-Marshall staff members were excited to join Bloomington residents, IU staff, and the Eagleson family yesterday for the historic renaming of Jordan Avenue to Eagleson Avenue! The Eagleson family has contributed so much to the Indiana University and Bloomington communities. Frances Marshall Eagleson became the first Black woman to graduate from IU in 1919. The NMBCC is named in her honor. We are incredibly thankful for her family’s contributions and ongoing support of the Center.
