"Hi! I’m Nia, I have been dancing for over 10 years and I’m currently a freshman at Indiana University Bloomington studying nursing.

You can find me at the front desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays! I’m always happy to help answer questions, assist with anything you may need, and make sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable at IDC.

Outside of the studio, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to concerts, shopping, and cheering on the Hoosiers! I can’t wait to see you around the studio!"

✨️ Meet Miss G! ✨️

"Hello! My name is Garlynn Gillespie and I am the Competition Team Director. I grew up as a competitive dancer in Paducah, Kentucky. I traveled all over the country from New York to LA and many places in between for dance competitions and intensives (shoutout to my awesome dance mom).

My dance career continued as I majored in Contemporary Dance at Indiana University and I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2025. At IU, I got the opportunity to work and learn from many profound artists, choreograph student pieces, and perform in IU Theatre and Dance Productions. In between semesters I was able to attend professional dance trainings in Lucca, Italy and Salt Lake City, Utah. Since graduating I have found a love for pilates and have obtained my 600 hour certification through Lotus Pilates.

Over the years the my passion for dance has continued to deepen. I feel my true self when I am dancing, I've created loyal friendships, and have learned so many wonderful life and dance lessons. My best memories growing up involve dancing and I strive to lead the same experience for my team.

I love my dogs Mocha and Chai, bedazzling, Indiana Basketball, and chocolate! "

"Hello everyone! My name is Mackenzie Jerrold, and I am originally from Atlanta, GA. I am a sophomore at Indiana University studying Neuroscience, but I have spent almost my entire life in a dance studio. I trained pre-professionally in ballet and contemporary at Terminus Modern Ballet Theater throughout my high school career, performing in the Nutcracker, annual Regional Dance America conventions, and local showcases.

We had an exceptional day on the IU campus for our first annual Leadership Retreat with the IDC Leadership Committee! They created core values, pretended to be owners and share how they would make decisions, discussed how they could be better leaders, shared their visions, worked together to complete tasks and activities and most importantly they spent their day together learning what matters to each other. They are invested in making the future of IDC great for themselves and for all future dancers. We continue to be amazed at the creativity, kindness, intelligence and ideas that these dancers contribute! The future of IDC is in great hands!!! 🫶🏻
