Fire breathing frog.. redraw Ami James.

The "fire-breathing toad" refers to Ōgama (giant toad yōkai) from Japanese folklore.
​Though its breath is usually described as rainbow-colored, it's a dangerous, powerful shapeshifter that grows more menacing with age, capable of wielding spears and sometimes being associated with righteous retribution or magic, like in the tale of Jiraiya.
​More generally, toads (kaeru) in Japanese culture often symbolize good fortune and safe return because kaeru also means "to return."
