Heart Space Community Art Studio

Heart Space Community Art Studio Art instruction for children, teens and adults. Community studio space, local artists retail, Gallery 212 Water St. Block Island

Heart space can be defined as an inner aura where worries fade and the outer space is forgotten. Ones inner space is felt in yoga during moments of meditation and, as many artists can attest, when in the mindset of creativity, the rest of the world stops for a bit and the meditative state takes over to create something meaningful and heartfelt. As artists, Felicia and Paige wish to share these creative meditations with kids and adults, artists and novices alike. In our studio we offer various art classes for children, young adults and even an adult art and cocktail evening as well as opportunities for artists seeking work studio space and gallery space in exchange for volunteering at what we hope to be a progressive studio. Although we are starting small, we hope to create Block Islands first all encompassing and public art community. We are eager to hear and share ideas, creativity and a mutual understanding of a general love of creating something larger than ourselves.
