Peanut Proud is an annual celebration that honors the peanut industry and what it means to our community. The all-day festival creates an experience like no other that brings together our citizens and their families, our local businesses, our leaders and our respected peanut farmers. The Peanut Proud family vine grows longer every year as it is draws thousands of not-so-local visitors and vendors. Join us, Saturday, March 22nd, 2014, as we honor the peanut and our farmers!

The 18th annual Peanut Proud Festival was a huge success! We have a lot of people to thank and fun moments to share. These people and businesses are the reason you enjoy a FREE family-oriented day celebrating the peanut industry! Please make an effort to say thank you to these folks when you see them!

We are so proud of Blakely and Early County, and how you show up and show out when company comes to town!

This is such a full-circle moment!!!

There’s just something special about small towns and the connections that come with them 💛

What started as a simple breakfast stop during Peanut Proud turned into the sweetest exchange. Getting a message from one of the new owners of Smitty’s thanking us for stopping by—and then realizing it’s a place that already held memories for our family—just meant that much more. My husband used to share so many mornings there with a good friend, and now here we are, making new memories in the very same spot.

That’s what supporting local is all about. It’s more than just food or a quick stop—it’s stories, history, relationships, and community all wrapped into one.

We’re so grateful to be part of a town that shows up, supports each other, and keeps those connections alive year after year. Already counting down to next time ❤️
