Brag post ahead….

This afternoon we had our traditional “in studio rehersal before dress rehearsal” for production numbers, extra parts and competition teams. This is where it all comes together and the dancers get to see the vision that is our recital. They learn which routine enters where, who goes after who and who might need help with those costumes changes.

We couldn’t have had THIS rehearsal in our old space that’s for sure!

See the kids in these pictures? They grow like weeds. How cool is it that we got to have over 50 kids all in one room? Dancing, singing and making memories while helping one another and cheering each other on.

Saturday rehearsals are a special thing at SCDC. We not only ran our dances but we kept traditions alive - playing Ships and Sailors one last time for our seniors. Can I mention that Alicia was a close 2nd place! 😜

Anyway….I’m so proud of our dancers this year! Only 2 weeks left before they hit the stage! We hope to see you there!

Are you ready for picture day?

Tomorrow is day 1 and the following classes are scheduled for photos at our studio beginning at 4pm.

Being on time is crucial! Please have hair and make-up done prior to arrival. There will be changing pods available to dress in.

Combination classes will wear their TAP costumes first and then change into ballet. DO NOT FORGET YOUR SHOES!

It’s that time!!! Time to think of putting a booster or ad in our recital program for your dancer. Many of the dancers collect the programs year after year and enjoy looking through them, reading the messages written to support them.

This is also a great opportunity to advertise your small business! Any small businesses who place an ad or booster will also be featured on our page and Instagram to spread the word!

Our recital this year is titled…“Steppin’ Out” and will take place on
June 27th (dress rehearsal on June 26th) at Newton High School.

Ads and Boosters can be purchased in 4 different sizes
and can include a photo.

¼ page - $20
½ page - $30
Full page -$60
Business Card - $15

Ads or photos must be submitted in jpeg form only and should be emailed to [email protected]
NO LATER THAN JUNE 5th, 2026
Cash, Check or Venmo is accepted
