Thank you to everyone that helped me and come to see me at the Fine Arts Center at the Minnesota State Fair.

It was an incredibly hot day and still so many people came to see the art work. It was truly an amazing experience to be part of the Studio: Here.

Meet Septembers artist of the Month, Sushila Anderson from Dynamic Glass Design. She is featured in the fine arts building at the Minnesota State Fair, this is her featured piece.

Q 1. Who are you? Sushila Anderson, owner of Dynamic Glass Design
Q 2. Do you work alone or with a group? Alone
Q 3. When did you start creating? Has it been life long or a recently discovered passion? I have always been a creative person, I started working in glass in 2008 during college.
Q 4. Why/How did you start creating? I started learning and working in glass through a college work study program.
Q 5. Who or what inspired you to pursue art? My grade school art teacher and my mom are my first two people that had the largest influence in pursing art.

What has been your biggest accomplishment with your work? Being selected for Studio: Here in the Fine Arts Center at the Minnesota State Fair. This has given me the opportunity to put artwork in the Studio: Here art exhibit and demonstrate my artwork for one full day at the fair, including giving two artists talks.

I updated my website's Events and Classes for the rest of 2026. There are 7 new events listed and 13 classes this fall to enjoy, including the Minnesota State Fair Presentation on August 31, 9am- 9pm.

Mark your MN State Fair calendar for Monday August 31 from 9am to 9pm in the Fine Arts Center and artist talks at 2:15 & 5:45. I will be demonstrating stained glass and mosaic artwork.

Preview Night at the Minnesota State Fair in the Fine Arts Center was fantastic.

The puzzle of all puzzles. I’m back at the stained glass lamp. I’m excited to see how far I can get and be able to show the progress at the Minnesota State Fair.

My demonstration and artist talks will be August 31, inside the Fine Arts Center between 9am and 9pm.
