Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is officially OPEN!
A brand-new year of creativity is just around the corner, and the studio is filling up with exciting classes, fresh projects, favorite traditions, and plenty of joy-filled messes!
If your child loves to draw, paint, sculpt, sew, build, tell stories, or simply create, there's a place waiting for them at The Art Factory.
Every week brings new materials to explore, new skills to learn, and new opportunities to experiment, create, and have fun alongside an amazing community of creative kids.
Many classes have limited enrollment, so if you've been waiting for registration to open, now's the time to grab your favorite class before it fills!

We had an AMAZING week of Fashion Camp to kick off our summer at the studio!! Designing outfits, taking a bus trip to the YMCA to shop, playing potions with friends, and having the freedom to create!! I already can't wait for next years Fashion Camp!!

🎓✨ BIG congratulations to two incredibly special members of The Art Factory family… Morgan and Kiara!! ✨🎓

These two amazing humans officially graduated and we could not be more proud of them and all they have accomplished during their time at Virginia Tech AND at The Art Factory. 💖

🍎 Morgan graduated with her Master’s in Elementary Education (Pre-K through 6th Grade) and will be moving to North Carolina to teach 5th grade year-round at Willow Springs Elementary School! The students lucky enough to walk into Morgan’s classroom are going to be so loved, encouraged, and inspired.

🐓 Kiara graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Animal & Poultry Science with a minor in Public Health! Next up… graduate school at Michigan State University where she will pursue a master’s thesis in animal genetics. SO impressive and exciting!!

A HUGE thank you to both Morgan and Kiara for sharing their creativity, kindness, joy, and care with the children and families at The Art Factory while they were at VT. They helped create such a welcoming, safe, playful space for so many young artists and their impact will absolutely be missed.

Way to go Morgan and Kiara!! 🎉

We will be celebrating our young artists this Friday with an Art Show. Due to the logistics of the art show there will be no OpenStudio Playtime on Saturday 5/16.
Our last playtime before our semester break will be on 5/23!

Summer Art Camps run weekly from June 15 - August 7

Each week features a brand-new creative theme, allowing children to explore different materials, ideas, and ways of expressing themselves. Families may register for one week or multiple weeks-each stands beautifully on its own.

Preschool and Elementary camps run each week!

PRESCHOOL CAMP
Ages: 3–6
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Cost: $150/week

ELEMENTARY CAMP
Grades: rising1st– 6th
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(extended day option: 3:00 – 5:00pm)
Cost: $300/week - payment plan accepted
Extended day: $150/week
