Our sister has us make some really fun shadowforms. Most recently she had us make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles box for our nephew. I was obsessed with this show as a child so I jumped at the opportunity to create this. I might have gotten a little carried away and threw Krang in because I love his interactions with Shredder. I am invincible!

Spending a fairly large chunk of this holiday weekend getting caught up on a couple custom orders. I've loved every step of this one so far, but no surprise, it is my favorite holiday movie. Up next, the most recent season of a certain streaming service's biggest hit, which was also our first custom order, several seasons ago. That is one I am really excited for... I'm actually watching it now, and it's almost time to start running up that hill.

I remember when Marty first picked up this book, it was when we were still living in GA and driving to OH once a month to see family. He had it in the car and read it for the entire 8 hours, probably the only time he ever stayed awake for the full drive. And when he finished it on the way back to GA he made me stop at some random Target in KY to pick up Catching Fire. It's no surprise that when the movies came out they were immediately amongst our favorites of all time. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

For one half of Narty, H20 is the favorite installment of the Halloween franchise. And for the other half it's the second favorite. We have been excited to get this shadowform box created and added to our inventory for years, and are quite happy to see it completed. That opening scene, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Jimmy Howell, is what took what could have been a passing interest in the genre and nurtured it into the obsession that it is today. Once Narty becomes a full time gig this 8x8 will absolutely be expanded into an 11x14, there is so much more we want to do with it. We were able to get this custom order dropped off over the weekend which means, now that they have seen it, we can share it here as well. I love getting to create shadowforms of well loved movies from years ago because it gives me a reason to dive into the world that exists in those movies. Not only watching and rewatching the films and specific scenes, but looking at costuming, looking at props, at various sets and filming locations, and reading quotes. It really is a process that I love. I have such a greater appreciation for classics like Carrie after I have created something inspired by it. Thank you for allowing me to create!

This weekend we will be at Cincinnati Comic Con where we will get to meet Richard Dreyfuss! Since Jaws is one of our favorite movies we knew we had to give our old 8x8 box an upgrade. All new designs and now in the 11x14 size, we can't wait to give one to Hooper!
