Join us as we paint a colorful Sunset & Butterfly masterpiece on 11x14 heavy-quality cardstock (a great surface that helps keep class prices affordable!).

💛 Open DRAWING CLASS FOR KIDS ages 10 years old and older.

We will guide you step by step throughout this drawing. No experience necessary! We will learn the basics of drawing proportions, shading with with pencils and colored pencils on paper.

Creativity is encouraged!
(Although I will be showing them step by step how to draw and shade this drawing, kids tend to want to put their own creative touches. This is what makes us unique as artists!)

This mornings dolphin painting class was incredible!! I LOVE, love, love teaching kids art! They are so creative, fun, loving and come excited to create and their joy transfers to me!

These talented kids painted the glow of the moon, the texture of the water waves, they traced around a simple outline of the dolphin to get them started with proportions, BUT they added all of the important details of the dolphins on their own!!! 👌

I will be posting several open kids paint/draw classes throughout the Summer! Please keep an eye out and spread the word! The more the merrier! 😊

A few spots are still available! We will be starting in just one month. I CAN NOT WAIT!

A Summer of Making, Exploring & Creating

💛 What will we be doing?

💫Weekly creative adventures with a new art focus each week where students explore a new artistic adventure—painting, imagining, and experimenting. A variety of projects across styles, cultures, and mediums!!
Projects are thoughtfully tailored by age group (7–18), so every artist is challenged and inspired.

💫Times, Days and Prices for the full 5 weeks of art are as follows:

💫WE BEGIN: July 6th-August 4th

Mondays OR Tuesdays (whichever day works best for your schedule)

* AGES 7-9 years old 10:00-11:00 a.m.
$85.00 (Monday is full for this age group, ONE SPOT available for Tuesday for this age group)

* AGES 10-12 years old 11:30-1:00 p.m.
$100.00 (both days available for this age group)

* AGES 13 year olds and older 1:30-3:00
$100.00 (MONDAY is full for this age group, Tuesday is available)

That price includes ALL instruction AND materials (and little snacks to enjoy will be provided) throughout the 5 weeks!

The students come once a week for one hour (older kids and hour and half) from July 6th through August 4th.

💫Class must be paid for in advance in order to hold your child (children’s spot.)
Half of tuition can be paid in advance and the other half can be paid for the week class begins. Whatever works best for you and your budget! (SIDENOTE: In case of a cancellation HALF of art tuition is non-refundable.)

💫Spots are limited and classes fill QUICKLY and are first come first served. Venmo accepted! For those who do not have Venmo I can email you an invoice. After we receive payment confirmation, your spot is then reserved!!

This is a great opportunity for kids to do something different during summer and hopefully carry their creativity into the future!

You’re invited! 🎨✨

Every year we host a special art show celebrating the talented young artists in our community, ages 7–18. We would love for you to come enjoy their creativity and hard work!

The show will be at the Snake River Library beginning tomorrow from 5:00–7:00 PM, and will continue Friday during regular library hours.

We are so grateful the library has invited us back again this year to help celebrate these wonderful artists and all they have accomplished. You do not need to have a child enrolled in art lessons to attend — everyone is welcome!

What's the magic behind painting butterflies?!! Two butterfly classes this month at Sunshyne Studioz and they've all turned out completely amazing. Each one a masterpiece in its own right! What a blast to create with you all!! I'm super excited for next month's artistic adventures.
