The Gilpin Clay Studio is a pottery studio where students come together in 8 week stretches to be brave with clay! Students from very beginner to very experienced come together to create new fun ceramic pieces that may be functional or decorative, both, or neither! In warmer months new pottery pieces are added to the outside sculpture garden, and several times a year students have an opportunity t

o participate in local art shows. Gilpin Clay Studio can be found at Gilpin County Parks and Recreation Community Center, 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk, Colorado.

We have some BEAUTIFUL pots (and baked goods!) set out for the fundraiser tomorrow! It's a fantastic opportunity to support your local clay studio and get great prices on all kinds of pots. Lots of beautiful vases, platters, mugs, LARGE mugs (!), trinket dishes, salad bowls, serving bowls, plates, a few casseroles. Come check it out at the Gilpin Community Center, 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk, CO 80422. We'll be open 10am - 4pm tomorrow/Saturday May 2nd.

Don't stress about getting gifts shipped in time come support these great businesses!

A chance to help fellow potters heal. Our thoughts are with you!

Attention Spinning Silica Makers! Please join us this Sunday in song, ceremony, creating, sacred rage, and remembrance. We will be creating in clay, chanting to the drums, using clay slip to adorn our heart and third eye chakra to retain strength, concentration, and to remind ourselves of our creative goals. My hopes is this will help offer our kiddo and adult makers of the space some closure and community. I even got their favorite kids clay snacks. 💕 I hope to see you, hold you, and become stronger with you. I can only tag 20 please so please help me share this with our makers community.
