What a special time to be alive, to get to see the 250th anniversary of America and the 150th anniversary of Colorado. I remember the 200th and the 100th anniversary very well, I was 9 years old, I still have the commemorative Pepsi bottle from them.
I thought a still life would be fun to paint on this special day. Wishing all of my family and friends a Very Happy Independence Day.
