A new home!
I just knew when I was painting this artwork that it would find its way to somewhere very special!
The painting “swirling smoke” was on display last summer with the Palmer Lake Artist Group’s summer show at the Manitou Arts Center (the MAC in Colorado Springs, CO). While there, Marlee from Denver was visiting with her Mom & Dad from Florida, who enjoyed the show on their visit to Colorado Springs.
My painting made such an impression on them, that 2 months later, Marlee & her Mom reached out to me as a surprise purchase for her Dad’s very special upcoming birthday.
What an honor to have made a painting that made a lasting memory for this family, and now has made a special birthday gift in its new home.
This is why I paint - to make unique sentimental connects with others. ❤️

100% of the proceeds from these ornament sales goes straight to the scholarship fund for young artists pursuing a professional career in art.
