Both Sophie Goat and Betty Goat will be having our first Happy Goat Miniature Silky kids are our farm!!!!!!

Betty- date unknown, before Sophie
Sophie- end of Feb, beginning of March

(Dottie Goat is too young and will wait until next fall- she is so jealous of the older girls and pushes her way to the front for any possiblepets or treats!)

Note- this picture is of a Bad Hair Day! Sophies hair will be long and silky. She'd gotten a trim at her old house because she had been free ranging and had some really bad snares...girls!
And Rufus, we'll hes been peeing on himself and his bangs need a good wash.

I've not had long haired silkys before. I think ill need to set up a bathing area in the garage. There is warm water and a drain, in the garage.

Choas around here. Fall a breeding season on the farm. And since we've got new young goats and new young rabbits, none of them seem to know what they are doing.🤣I'd love to have the 2 doe rabbits bred already and the one doe goat. But it seems its gonna take a little longer. We have large New Zeeland meat rabbits and Miniature Silky Fainters. The rabbits have thier kits in 31 days after breeding. The goats 150 days fir thier kids if I remember correctly.

Our new sweet Betty Goat arrived to us already bred and we do not know her due date. I did confirm with a blood test that she is pregnant. So that'll be a surprise gift! 🎁

My 6 year old fixed male goat and the 5 month old are the ones working the hardest today.....And they are NOT going to make any babies. 😧🤷‍♀️
