The Capital Gallery Celebrating Art, History, and Culture

The Capital Gallery Society is a foundation which operates a 501(c)(3) nonprofit retail art gallery in Bismarck, North Dakota. Our mission is "Celebrating History, Art, and Culture!" We are North Dakota's Full Service Fine Art gallery, offering complimentary design, consultation, and installation; and we have locations in Bismarck, Medora, and Fargo. We believe art is life, and life is art; it transforms your living or work space and has the power to connect and heal individuals on deep level. As a nonprofit organization, we are grateful for the financial support of our Capital Gallery Society Patrons, who commit annual contributions of $250 or more, and annual support from the North Dakota Council on the Arts.

Get your Gala tickets!

Our annual Art Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The proceeds raised keep our Gallery open free to the public and allow us to keep bringing world class art shows to Bismarck.

We’ve got a great selection of original art in the live auction this year, and it will available for viewing starting this Friday. In the mean time, we will be closed as we transition shows.

The Gala wouldn’t be possible without our community. A huge thank you to our top sponsors this year; Westley’s Jewelry, KFYR TV, BNC National Bank, McGough Construction, Northwest Realty, and United Printing. Supporting the arts means supporting your community!
