Memory 2021 Red Bench Studio

Longingly (Infrared). Keake is a wonderful model with whom to collaborate in creating intense and expressive portraits! This image was captured during a very “enlightening” ( 😉 ) workshop titled “Dramatic Portraiture with One Light”, conducted by the estimable Bill Stevens of reimaginemestudios.com . This was part of an excellent series of photo workshops organized by Red Bench Photo Studio in Jerome, AZ (our state’s most populous ghost town) – highly recommended for my photog friends!

Tech info: Nikon D3200 camera (modified for infrared with 590nm filter), Nikon 18-140mm lens at 66mm, 1/100 sec. at f5.6, ISO 400.

🎨 Red Bench Studio Reopens May 1st

After a season of rest, reflection, and reimagining, Red Bench Studio is opening its doors again.

This little blue studio in Bisbee has held quite a few stories: paintings on the walls, conversations in golden light, photo shoots, creative risks, bold ideas, and quiet breakthroughs.

And now it’s ready to welcome you back❣️
