Shadow Garden is hosting a Gothic dance party on New Year’s Eve at True Story Brewing! DJ’s Julia Doom and Maelstrom will both end the year and ring in the new one with a mix of Darkwave, Coldwave, and Post Punk!
In celebration of our first year as a group, we are giving away 3 vinyl releases special to us and the music we play- the first being the Sisters of Mercy's, “Floodland” reissue, featuring black ice galaxy vinyl, specific to this release. (We will announce the other 2 releases in the next few days 🖤). There will also be a free champagne toast at Midnight!
18+, 10 Cover, Doors 7pm/show 8pm. True Story has free parking and serves food and drink onsite. Please feel free to share and repost the event, as every share is appreciated 🖤

For one night only, Shadow Garden and The Midnight Effect are teaming up for a surprise pop up night of Goth, Industrial, Darkwave, and Synthwave music this Saturday November 15th, at True Story Brewing! Legendary Metropolis Record EBM/Electro-Industrial artists, Mentallo and the Fixer, have added Birmingham to their tour dates, and are playing True Story Brewing Next Wed, November 12th!

Bio:
After years of anticipation within the electro-industrial scene, the legendary duo Mentallo & The Fixer have officially reunited. Brothers Gary and Dwayne Dassing, the masterminds behind the project, have returned to the studio. Known for their intricate programming, chilling samples, and a signature blend of sci-fi dread and societal commentary, Mentallo & The Fixer dominated the 90’s industrial landscape. 2025 marks their first full-length album as a duo since 1997's 'Burnt Beyond Recognition'. Adding further to this, the band will embark on their first US tour since 2006, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their classic album, 'Where Angels Fear to Tread'. This offers longtime fans a rare opportunity to witness the band's intense live performances and introduces a new generation to their groundbreaking sound, solidifying their legacy as true innovators of electro-industrial music.

Final post! Tomorrow (Saturday) July 26th, Shadow Garden returns with Shadow Garden Presents: Dreams in Digital, a night focusing on the darker dance aspects of Post-Punk and Darkwave. Come dance yourselves into the night, hosted by Midnight Effect's own DJ Maelstrom, and Shadow Garden/Neon Electric DJ, Julia Doom. As our only show of the summer, we are giving away two *very* special vinyl releases, the first one being the vinyl reissue of Depeche Mode's, "Violator", as well as a rare colored 12" with a special B-side etching, of Molchat Doma's, "Live at Panorama Hotel". Giveaway at 12 am.

Hosted at True Story Brewing Company in Crestwood, which has a full bar, serves food, and has free onsite parking.

18+, Doors 7pm, Show 8pm, $5 cover (getting tickets online through the event link is also a straight $5, no convenience fees)
