Another Fiber Club* field trip in the books! Thank you so much to .clegg and for hosting us and showing us the “ropes” of running an artist-run studio and gallery space.

We got to spend time together in Ropes Of, the current solo show of .shulman, and learned about Sally and her cohort’s experience with finding and working in the dynamic space. Needless to say, we left impressed and inspired!

Join Fiber Club* at Buffalo Prescott Foundation as we ‘soft launch’ a collaboration we’re calling “Soft Studies,” an opportunity to drop in, meet up, hang out, and create in community.

No agenda or pressure - come as you are. Swing by, bring a project, or materials, notions, and ideas to start something. Maybe cook up a collab. Whatever brings your hands and mind some peace and comfort.

It's installation day for Common Thread at the Gifts of Art Gallery at Michigan Health!

Common Thread, curated by Riley Klein (), encompasses the work of 30 artists and aims to spark creativity, inspire hopefulness, and promote outlets of making through fiber.

The breadth of the exhibit demonstrates a shared interest in materiality, craft, and process-driven work which Fiber Club* hopes will be particularly inspiring within a space of care.

The show officially opens Monday, December 16 at University of Michigan Health in the Taubman Center South Lobby, directly across from the pharmacy, and runs through February 28.
