Game of Stumps - a photo story as staged, photographed and told by Marigold and Haley.

In Stumpy's rise to power, many fell in battle and betrayals. Much like the trees of his kingdom before Bardsdom. But the lesson that Stumpy failed to learn is that a kingdom built on blood and sap, can only be maintained by more blood and sap, and so our Game of Stumps ends where it began.



Thank you for your support of Bards of Birmingham. We have really enjoyed performing theatre for this community for the last 10 years. We hope that the lives we touch will grow and go on to some many great things. Reminisce with us sometime on our website www.bardsofbirmingham.com

Game of Stumps - a photo story as staged, photographed and told by Marigold and Haley.

Stumpy entered the throne room and called out the king for her crimes against his trees. Stumpy challenged King Sara to a duel for control of the kingdom. Sara accepted, knowing that she was the best sword fighter in the cast, I mean kingdom. Sara and Stumpy engaged in glorious combat until Sara said that this is pointless, how could she kill something that has no head. So she abdicated the throne to go eat pizza because she was exhausted from the performance earlier. Stumpy was now king. The remaining plebians pleaded for their lives.
