WACKY NANNY SUMMER ART CAMP SUMMER 2016: BIG KID (6-12 year olds) SESSION WEEK OF June 6/June 13//July 25
LITTLE KID SESSION (3-5 year olds )WEEK OF June 20/June 27/Aug.1/Aug.8

Each session is from 9-1 p.m. Cost $125.00 per child with a 10% discount for siblings. This includes all supplies plus a snack. Campers will need to bring their lunch and a drink. I also offer a $30.00 drop in fee per day per child. Art Camp is a messy place so please dress your child appropriately. Friday is our art opening and water day so your child will need sunscreen, swimsuit and a towel. Th

Everyone who is wondering if Wacky Nanny Art Camp is still available I am so sorry but I lost my space 2 years ago and decided to let it go which is disappointing but unavoidable... I do offer Wacky Nanny Birthday Parties and will be teaching Saturday classes at Art Play in October

As most of you know I am no longer offering WNAC. It is with great sadness that this is the case but I lost my space and haven't found the right one and now I am a full time Preschool teacher. If you are looking for a summer camp might I suggest the day camp;s at the Levite Jewish Community Center. They have a lot of speciality camps that are amazing!!!! I will also begin my fall Saturday art classes at Art Play beginning in September!!!

I am missing art camp very much this summer and am thinking of ways to perhaps have a day if creating at Avondale/triangle park in the future if that would be something of interest.

Parents I am still keeping this page active so that I can keep all of you "in the know" so to speak... I will be teaching a Sunday art class for children beginning in June at the Jewish Community Center you do not have to be a member.

It is with great disappointment that I am posting this. Wacky Nanny Art Camp is going to have to take summer 2017 off. I am unable to find a venue that would fit for camp. I have looked and called etc. but no luck. This saddens me very much but I need to go ahead and make the decision to take this summer off and find the most perfect place to fit my needs for 2018. I will still have the page and website up and will make posts from time to time. I may be able to have some art events offered for your children and will keep you posted about that. I am still doing my art birthday parties and teaching at ArtPlay. I am so grateful to you all for being such wonderful patrons of this kooky camp that was born many years ago. This is not the end but just a little hiatus....oxoxoxo With much love and deep appreciation......

It is the end of February and I am still diligently trying to find a venue for art camp this summer. I have a meeting with Avondale UMC. I am also calling Red Mountain Community school. If any of you have ANY leads please let me know. I do not want this fun camp to come to an end.

Hello parents of wacky campers! Last summer was the last camp held at the Crestwood Community South building sadly. It is a very long story which involved the city dissolving many community center programs in Birmingham and our location was one of them. I am heartbroken because I have held camp in that space for 10 years and everyone involved in the running of that facility were/are very dear to me.....so, what to do now? I am diligently looking for a new space in which to hold camp and that has proven to be slightly difficult because of all the activities we like to do at camp....gym, kitchen, playground etc. I will let you know as soon as I find a space.
