We started two new projects simultaneously today. (Yes, I’m brave. 😜) We began making portfolios and we also made some non-objective paintings on canvas with paint pouring acrylic paint. The portfolios will hold all of their 2D art for the year. The students that didn’t make the paintings today will make them tomorrow. 👩🏼‍🎨😍

We are making reliefs on aluminum using the repoussé technique. This is a metal-working technique that has been around for thousands of years. We added a patterned background today and we will begin coloring them with colored Sharpies tomorrow. 👩🏼‍🎨

We created some really cool non-objective alcohol ink paintings. This is always a crowd pleaser. ❤️ Each student got to make ✌🏻. More pics coming soon!!! 👩🏼‍🎨
