❤️ We’re asking for a little help for Briere’s students again this year. ❤️
Last year, I shared a request for help for Briere’s classroom, and I was absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness that came pouring in. Because of so many amazing people, her students had something they needed, and our hearts were so incredibly thankful.
We’re praying we can make that happen again this year.
Briere teaches at a low-income school, and her classroom gets really cold. Her students wear uniforms, and while a sweatshirt may seem like a simple thing, for some families it’s an extra expense that just isn’t possible. Some of these kiddos wear the same uniform all week because that’s what they have.
And when you’re choosing between necessities, an extra sweatshirt doesn’t always make the list.
These kids still deserve to be warm.
She brought their sweatshirts home every weekend and washed them, so Monday morning, they were ready for another week. At the end of winter, they all were able to take their sweatshirts home with them ❤️
So our goal is to make sure every single child in Briere’s classroom has a sweatshirt they can keep at school. No worrying about who has one and who doesn’t. No child sitting at their desk cold. Everyone gets one.
I’ve shared an Amazon Wishlist with the sweatshirts her classroom needs. If you’re able to purchase just one sweatshirt, you’re helping one child stay warm and comfortable while they learn.
Last year showed us just how much can happen when people come together for these kids. We are so incredibly grateful for every person who helped then, and we’re hoping we can wrap Briere’s classroom in that same love again this year.
