Welcome to the what will probably be a long winded post on the totals that we have so far from last night’s event.
First, I’d like to thank everyone who made this event possible....
Our sponsors:
Dan Brown Construction
Music City
Ruby and Sons Jewelers
Michelangelo’s
Grapevine Cafe
Touch of Texas
Magic 101.7
• Tanya Wheeler for MC’ing the event.
• Greg Allan for running sound and lights.
• Diane Benson and Kat Button for running the Raffle table.
• Amanda Trotter for running the 50/50’s.
• Tim Ward and the B.C. Celtic Pipe and Drum.
• Keven Hoover, Tater Salad, and the whole staff at Touch of Texas for working their asses off serving food and drinks.
• The Security crew at Touch of Texas for not only keeping every one in line, but for also donating half of their pay to Traci’s Hope.
• All of the musicians who played along with the Event’s “Russian Roulette” style of drawing them out to play together randomly with others.
Every year, people always come to me and Mike Malinovsky and say “I don’t know how you guys pull this off every year....” to which I answer “without any of the above mentioned there’s no way that we could pull this off...”
And now for the totals....
There were 350 attendees counted through the door.
Between 50/50’s, Raffles, those who donated at the door, and Touch Of Texas donating 10% of what they took in from food and drinks sold...we took in $3,266.00.
We have to contact The Can Man to pick up what looks to be at least 50 bags of bottles and cans that were collected.
We will be calling them on Monday to set up a pick-up on Thursday when they do their weekly pick up for Touch of Texas.
They will pick up on Thursday, February 1st. Then they will drop the cash for the cans collected off on Thursday, February 8th.
We will have a grand total for the donation to Traci’s Hope on Thursday, February 8th.
