Update on Announcements and Dates
This is long and somewhat vague on purpose. We should have updates on all future events and teases fulfilled early next week. Now onto why we have been somewhat quiet lately.
So I’ve gotten inundated with questions on dates and announcements. At the beginning of the year, we were influx. Other companies were popping up, some opening schools, and we were closing down our location at the Arnot Mall. So I put out dates just to say hey, we’re not going away. What I found was a few things have occurred in the last six months. One, despite my best efforts of trying to get the other promoters in NYS to work together, they all just do whatever dates they want. Which wouldn’t be an issue, if I wasn’t the guy running the production for most of them. Now don’t get me wrong, I love working with all of them. I’ve figured out how to run multiple crews at the same time, but I’d prefer to not do that. That leads to my next issue, I just haven’t been able to run all the shows I wanted. Now, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed going to concerts and running production for 6 to 7 companies all over the state regularly. However, even though I’ve definitely enjoyed the break from running 2 or 3 Xcite shows a month, I don’t know, I’d like to run my Xcite shows too. So the dates we put out 6 months ago, obviously have changed. No we don’t have the next Elmira or Hornell dates booked. I’ve tried to work with the buildings just to have others’ dates conflict with what I wanted. They will be booked very soon. We do have an added date coming up in July, which has been teased. We have Deposit and Spiedie Fest coming up. And we are going to be finalizing dates for the rest of the year. Including Elmira, Hornell, and the Polish Center, I promise. Once they are set with the building, if others book the same date, I won’t be there unfortunately. We’re going to need to because some things are changing for the better. I am the Forrest Gump of pro wrestling. Things just fall into my lap and it brings me back to doing what I enjoy. I’m going to be doing things that I want to do. And even though I feel a lot of times Xcite hasn’t been the priority for some, I have had a lot of people I respect go out of their way lately to remind me that what we do is really good. I have new people who are giving us opportunities I didn’t plan on in any way, but now will be my priorities. I will be making a lot of changes for the better that will benefit everyone I work with, I really hope you come along for the ride. It should be fun.
