This Friday, the “RUSTY JUNK” band invades the American Legion Post #1194 in Hillcrest from 6 to 9 pm.
Sausage sandwich with peppers & onions and chips for $6 will be available !!
Great Band. Great Music. Great Times.

Today, Post # 478 Commander Michael Malinovsky, along with Broome County American Legion Commander Hugh Becker & Marine Corps League Detachment #250 Commandant Adam Steen, did “Color Guard” 🇺🇸 duties at Mirabito Stadium before the Rumble Ponies game. It was a beautiful day outside !!

Today we made our annual pilgrimage to Candor, NY to pay respects to our Post’s namesake, Richard J. Hoyt. Our post has done this for 104 out of the last 105 years.
It is important to me to keep this tradition going !
Thank you very much to Patty Stampfler, Christine Robinson & Kathy Barnett of the VFW #478 Post Auxiliary for joining me.

A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to Sr. Vice Commander Dan Cullen, Quartermaster Darlene Croston, Mike Griffis, Meghan Kafura, Patty Stampfler, Albert Woodward, and Tom & Manny for their assistance in placing American flags on veterans' graves in preparation for Memorial Day 🇺🇸
