Repetition is key! Taking a foundational movement and trying to do it from standing all the way to the ground and any witch way. This is how you build flow and learn what you like & looks good!

Meet our Exotic Low Flow & Sensual Pole specialist Carissa Bean ‼️ She will be teaching floor techniques, how to build flow around the pole, and how to walk and work in Heels. Catch her class on Thursday at 6:45. She is a master at her craft 👌

Carissa started her pole dancing journey in the strip club at age 19. Her pole style developed to suit the needs of the club environment, with a heavy emphasis on slow, sensual movement designed to be eye-catching and hypnotizing. Now, after 10+ years in the industry, her curriculum reflects her background; she encourages her students to build their own freestyle “toolbox” while also providing combos and choreography to apply what’s been learned. Above all, she hopes that her students feel comfortable in their bodies, find movement that feels natural, and develop their own style.💕

excited to welcome Heather to the team!
Heather has passionately practicing pole dance for 10 years, having started at the age of 40. Now in her 50s, she continue to train, grow, and fall in love with this incredible art form every single day. Hear her story.
"I had spent over 25 years working as a corrections officer. I was feeling insecure, disconnected from my feminine energy, and limited by an ankle injury that made high-impact workouts difficult. I longed for something that would make me feel strong, confident, and good in my own body again. The moment I stepped into a pole studio, I was mesmerized by the strength and confidence of the dancers around me — but I felt completely uncomfortable in my own skin and doubted I'd ever have the upper body strength for it.
Still, I showed up determined. Week after week, I got a little stronger and a little more comfortable. Moves that once felt impossible started to flow. Within a month, I could already feel the difference — not just physically, but in my confidence and self-worth. Pole gave me my spark back.
Over the past decade, life has brought challenges - raising children, taking short breaks, and dealing with injuries. I've learned to work with bad knees and a stiff shoulder, adapting my practice and listening closely to my body. These experiences have taught me resilience and patience, and I've even installed a pole at home so 1 can keep training and freestyling on my own terms.
Today, I'm excited to take the next step in my journey by becoming a pole instructor. With a strong foundation in the fundamentals and years of real-life experience, I'm especially passionate about helping beginners who feel exactly how I once felt - insecure, "not strong enough,"
"too old," or convinced they "can't dance."
I want to show you that pole is truly for every body and every age. Whether you're dealing with injuries, self-doubt, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself, I'm here to support you with patience, encouragement, and practical modifications. Together, we'll build your strength, boost your confidence, and help you fall in love with yourself again”

Heather currently teaches pole 101 on Wednesday at 5:30. Come to class and get to know this incredible person!!
