Remember when the local newspaper was the main way you found out about local events? In 1994, our production of "La Bohème" was featured on the cover of the Good Times section of the Press & Sun-Bulletin. The production starred Timothy LeFebvre and Steven Mortier as Marcello, Gary Pate and Todd Geer as Rodolfo, Scott LaGraff and Peter Sicilian as Colline, Raymond Blackwell as Schaunard, and Claus Evans as Benoit.

Don't miss our next production of "La Bohème" in April of 2027 in the very same Forum Theatre! Tickets are available now at: https://tricitiesopera.com

Special thanks to Gary Pate for sending in this keepsake! If you have photos or mementos of past TCO productions, send them to: [email protected] so we can share them as part of !

Congratulations to the Bar Harbor Music Festival, who will launch their 60th anniversary season tomorrow night!

They're celebrating with an evening of vocal and chamber music featuring our 2026-27 Resident Artist, Kate Fogg, who will sing "The Shepherd on the Rock" - which you may remember plays an important role in the story of our recent production "Lucidity" - as well as other dramatic operatic works. If you're in Maine, make sure you attend!

OPENING NIGHT: Celebrate 60 Years of Music 🎻🎉

The wait is almost over! Join us on Wednesday, June 17th at 7:30pm at the historic St. Saviour's Church as we officially launch our landmark 60th Anniversary Season. To thank our incredible community for 60 wonderful years on the island, this opening concert is completely FREE to the public!

We are kicking off the summer with an extraordinary evening of vocal and chamber music featuring the brilliant Maine-based soprano Kate Fogg. She will be joined on stage by two of our beloved, returning festival favorites: Christina Spurling on piano and Eric Thomas on clarinet.

On the Program:
- Franz Schubert’s transcendent masterpiece, The Shepherd on the Rock
- Dramatic operatic works by Strauss, Puccini, Massenet, and more

Gather your friends, family, and neighbors for a beautiful, historic start to the summer. Can't wait to see you there!
