While we ❤️ love dogs (and we really love dogs), they are NOT ALLOWED at Alive After 5 or any other large downtown public event. The city ordinance is for the safety of all including your dogs!

And while we didn’t make this rule, we totally understand the City's ordinance. Events like AA5 are loud and crowded and can be stressful for a dog.

The Pub Station hosts the kickoff concert of the 2024 Alive After 5 season on Thursday, June 6. The June 6th Alive After 5 features two bands; Zech Peabody and Kalyn Beasley & The H***y Tonk Arcade

Lexie Mann is the gal coordinating the Alive After 5 season. Lexie starts the annual planning in the depths of the holiday season.

“Alive After Five …. A summer concert series that fills downtown streets with music and movement, it looks like a simple idea. But it’s not simple. “It’s a truly collaborative event because I’m working with these bars and restaurants.” Lexie leans into that collaboration. The businesses help shape the experience. They know what works. They know the audience. They know the energy.
“I think the bars have their finger on the pulse when it comes to music.” What comes out of that is something that feels organic, local, owned by the people who are part of it. There’s intention behind even the smallest details. Free water stations, walkability, making sure people can move, gather, and stay. “We offer free water by donation for all of our events during the summer,” Lexie explains. Kenny Feidler and The Cowboy Killers kick off Downtown Billings Alive After 5 season on June 11th outside The Pub Station with special guest Holland & Kohl! Learn more about the country singer in his recent Rolling Stone write up.

Kenny Feidler is a former rodeo cowboy singing songs about the circuit on albums like 'The Western Tragedy' and 'Live at Cain's.'

Last night was great! Thank you to Hooligan's Sports Bar for hosting and for Exit 53 for entertaining us all!!!! Thank you to everyone who joined us downtown last night and each Thursday this season. It was an excellent season - let’s do it again next summer, okay?!

It’s hard to believe that the final Alive After 5 of the 2025 season is coming up on Thursday, July 31st. The 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm event is hosted on the streets below Skypoint (2nd Ave. N. & N. Broadway) by the team at Hooligan's Sports Bar (109 N. Broadway) and features a locally loved country and rock band, Exit 53.
