Venture Theatre's Wet Ink Festival 2012 Venture Theatre Presents: Wet Ink Festival 2012 Come participate in the full run of 5 original One-Act plays created within a 24 hour time period.

Each play will be written, directed, rehearsed, and produced ALL IN 24 HOURS at Venture Theatre! Don't miss out on this unique experience where the audience has a front row seat in picking the titles and props from which the writers will draw inspiration and create an original play. Audience members also get to witness something rarely seen by anyone other than the theatre production team: ACTOR A

UDITIONS! Come Friday (November 16, 2012) to help pick the play titles, witness the actor auditions and return Saturday (November 17, 2012) to see each play onstage in it's completed form! Venture Theatre's Wet Ink Festival 2012...Your backstage pass to the birth of innovation!

Thank you for such a fun 2012 Wet Ink Festival. Every last one of you should be extremely proud of all the hard work and amazingly creative work you put forth last night! I saw creativity explode on that stage! Thank you all for being the diverse, creative, amazing people you are!

Wet Ink Writers and Directors! Wet Ink is almost upon us! So exciting!

Rough schedule looks like this:

Friday, November 16th - 8:00 pm showtime (show up at 7:00 pm if possible for check in)

After show on Friday is writer prime time for creating the magic.

Saturday, November 17th at 8:00 am scripts will be due for reproduction for tech/directors/actors

9:00 am - Actors show up to start memorization/rehearsal

Alright Wet Ink Actors! We're almost there! Please come Friday, November 16th to Venture at 7:00 pm for check in. Showtime is at 8:00 pm and the actor monologues are fairly close to the beginning of show. Relax! it's all for fun...there is no pressure...have fun!

After show Friday night you are free to go home and get some rest because Saturday, November 17th at 9:00 am you will need to be back at Venture to read the completed scripts, get your character assignment, and start rehearsing! We will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but please feel free to bring snacks of your own (especially if you have diet restrictions) or some food to share with everyone else is also greatly welcome.

So happy to have you all involved! Let's have a great Wet Ink Festival!

Alright! I currently have the following people down for acting in this year's wet ink festival! So exciting! Please show up Friday, November 16th at 7 pm for check in and be ready to have some fun! You will be required to show up at 9 am, Saturday, November 17th and stay most of the day for rehearsals. We will have food for you thanks to our marvelous food volunteers!
