It’s been a few months since I even stepped foot in my wood shop. Lots of reasons….busy skiing on the weekends with my family, busy with the day job hustle, slight burn out on the wood art, tired of creating in a crowded market….the list goes on. Today was a good day spent working on this donation piece for the Pheasants Forever banquet tomorrow here in Billings. Always feels good to help out in the name of conservation. Whether or not I keep creating wood art is yet to be determined however….🤷🏼‍♂️

Jam-packed week of shop time just in time for some last minute Christmas orders. Made it around SW Montana today to make some deliveries as well. I’m so grateful for all the orders!

New “abstract” mountain style headed to today! This is the start of some new designs I’ve been scheming in my noggin for a while and finally decided to try them on the work bench.

Finally got some Christmas pieces put together today. Maybe there’s still a few folks that haven’t finished all their decorating for Christmas….?

Two vertical pieces from this week’s shop time. First time I’ve left the sky portion a natural tone….might not be the last time I do it based on the feedback I’ve received. Blue sky piece is sold, but the natural sky piece is up for grabs.

I’ll never get tired of reposting this MontanAmerica reclaimed flag piece I built for some awesome folks. I’ll also never get tired of being thankful for the men and women that serve this country and allow us the freedoms we all take for granted every day. Happy Veterans Day. Thank you to all the Veterans out there.

Feliz Cumpleanos to the state we call home now. Seems fitting to use this photo for this post as this is our only Montana born kiddo, and thus our anchor baby as I see it. Here’s to hoping Montana produces a more Montanaesque winter this year!!!

It’s been a minute or two since I had such a productive day in the wood shop. Thankful for repeat clients and excited for these going to three new homeowners as gifts from their realtor!
