Beginner Wheel Throwing — 6-Week Pottery Course

Ready to get your hands muddy and discover the magic of the pottery wheel? Our 6-week Beginner Wheel Throwing course is designed for anyone curious about clay. No experience is required!

In this supportive and welcoming studio environment, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including:

Clay preparation and centering
Opening and pulling walls
Trimming
Finishing techniques
Creating functional pottery such as bowls, mugs, cups, and more
Each week, you’ll build new skills, gain confidence, and have plenty of opportunities to experiment. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s learning, creating, and having fun while making something with your own two hands.

Ceramic Handbuilding Basics — 5-Week Course

Get ready to get your hands dirty! Join us for a fun and welcoming 5-week pottery course designed for beginners and anyone who wants to slow down, experiment, and make something with their own two hands.

Over five weeks, you’ll explore:

Pinch pot forming
Slab building
Sprig mold decoration
Creative handbuilding techniques
Building, decorating, and finishing functional pieces

No wheel throwing here—just clay, your hands, creativity, and plenty of room to play. Each week will build new skills while giving you the opportunity to experiment and develop your own style.
