When the fireworks begin, most people are looking up. We we want to take a second to recognize the team making it all happen from the ground.

For more than two decades, Todd Reichenbach and the crew from PYRO F/X By Reichenbach, Inc. have been the talented team behind our fireworks show. Year after year, they've created a custom-choreographed display.

If you're in the park, you'll hear the soundtrack over our sound system as the fireworks fill the sky. Watching from outside the park? Tune into KGHL 94.7 FM and AM 790 to experience the show as designed with music.

A huge thank you to Todd and the entire PYRO FX team for helping make Celebrate Freedom a 4th of July tradition our community looks forward to year after year.

If your kids have more energy than your backyard can handle, we've got you covered!

Celebrate Freedom is packed with things to do before the fireworks even begin. Climb the rock wall, bounce on the inflatables, cool off at the splash pad, jump into a game of volleyball, challenge your friends to a co****le match, or let the kids take over the playground while you grab some food and relax on the grass.

The best part? There's plenty of room to spread out, hang out, and enjoy the summer evening with family and friends.

Good music has a way of turning a great evening into a night you remember, and this year's Celebrate Freedom entertainment is bringing exactly that.

DJ Preach will kick things off with crowd-favorite music, interactive games, and plenty of energy to get the party started.

Then get ready for Soul Skillet. Blending soul, blues, jazz, and NewoSoul, they'll bring the kind of live music that fits a perfect summer evening. Their smooth vocals, talented musicians, and feel-good sound are the perfect soundtrack as the evening rolls toward an incredible fireworks show.

Come early, enjoy the entertainment, and make a night of it!

Twenty-five years ago, Celebrate Freedom was a pretty simple idea. What if we gave Billings a giant 4th of July party with no admission, no tickets, and no catch?

Back in 2002, that looked like lemonade, carnival games, fair food, and a whole lot of volunteers. A few years later, we added professional fireworks when the city no longer had a consistent show, and that tradition has continued ever since.

Over the years, we've seen bounce houses, laser tag, horseback rides, climbing walls, face painting, food trucks, live entertainment, temporary tattoos, lawn games, and thousands of families making memories together.

Some things have changed. Some things have grown. A pandemic even forced us to simplify for a season. But one thing hasn't changed: for 25 years, Celebrate Freedom has been a gift to the community.

This summer marks our 25th year of gathering together at Castle Rock Park, and we're grateful to every family, volunteer, sponsor, and community member who has helped make it possible.

In just a few weeks, Castle Rock Park will transform into one giant 4th of July celebration packed with live entertainment, food trucks, family activities, thousands of people from across Billings, and a fireworks show that will light up the night sky.

We're gearing up for our annual Celebrate Freedom event – Billings' biggest 4th of July celebration! We're looking for some amazing food trucks to help us feed a hungry crowd!

Festivities begin at 4pm with family activities and live entertainment, followed by a large fireworks show after dark.
