Hello, Billings! We're back at it. 🛹❤️
This year we're continuing the work of improving our local Billings Skatepark, and we'd like to be honest for a moment.

It's been a hard road for the small group of volunteers behind this project. We've made real progress together with this community, but we've reached a point where we need your help.

Because of your support, we've already raised enough money to complete the new Musco lights, making the park safer for skaters, families, and the surrounding neighborhood. That's something our entire community can be proud of. The work isn’t done yet!

Now we're working toward the next phase. One of our biggest challenges is funding. Due to the skatepark's location within the refinery blast zone, we've run into complications with several grant opportunities. If you have experience writing grants, finding grants, or navigating the grant process, we'd truly appreciate your knowledge and guidance.

This isn't just about building ramps.
It's about giving kids a place to belong, supporting local skate culture, creating positive community events, and continuing to invest in a park that was largely left unfinished for nearly twenty years. Rather than complain about it, we chose to adopt it and get to work.

We're also excited to announce that we'll soon be releasing dates for our Third Sunday Skate Jams, monthly events leading up to our biggest event in October. Our goal is to make it even bigger than last August's Yellowstone Grind, which brought more than 500 people together at the skatepark.
