Come see the classic movie RIDE LONESOME (1959) at The Edge Theatre on Thursday, October 8th at 6:30pm - FREE!

From the desk of Jack Nachbar:
RIDE LONESOME (1959) is not only a rootin' tootin', loaded with action Western, it's also loaded with colorful characters, and funny moments. Randolph Scott is Ben Brigade, a bounty hunter obsessed with getting revenge for the murder of his wife.

RIDE LONESOME is the best of a series of six Westerns made in the 50s directed by Budd Boetticher, all starring super Western veteran (60 Western movies) Randolph Scott. These six films went beyond standard Westerns. Characters develop and change, and the plots include clever conversations between them. Scott is a loner but he partners up with three others, two outlaws and a beautiful widow (Pernell Roberts, James Coburn, and Karen Steele), who just might be planning to kill him. The character interaction makes RIDE LONESOME what many critics say is one of the best Westerns of the decade. I REALLY like this picture.
