Bigfork Summer Playhouse

Bigfork Summer Playhouse Broadway-caliber shows in the heart of Montana. The Bigfork Summer Playhouse is celebrating its 63nd Season of live professional theatre in 2022.

We haven't let Covid shuts us down ever and it was another stellar season last year! Great entertainment, new faces in the company, a day on the lake, and a ‘swell’ place to spend some time. Known by many as the “Theatre by the Bay,” the Bigfork Summer Playhouse is a past recipient of the Montana Governor’s Award for the Arts and can now boast that we have an OSCAR winner among our BSP alumni. Each season we recruit Broadway caliber acting and singing talent from across the country to bring our patrons the finest live professional theatre in the Northwest. Known for bringing the best of Broadway to the Rockies, each season we continue the tradition. Our 2022 repertory theatre productions are:

The Full Monty

We also have a late summer show, Hits From the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, (volume 10 – a repeat theme with all new songs for this season).

Introducing our guitarist Evan Lindemood and our drummer Elgin K. Thompson!

Evan Lindemood is a musician, singer and actor happy to be back at BSP for the third time. He’ll be playing guitar for the pit this summer, but he has additional experience in musical theatre and opera, and enjoys every aspect of performance, both on and off stage.

Elgin is a percussionist and actor from Central Oregon with a B.M. in Voice at the University of Idaho. After
two years in music composition, he committed to a vocal performance degree path, contributing as Dr. Falke in ‘Die Fledermaus’ and Count Almaviva in ‘Le Nozze Di Figaro’ for the LHSOM Opera Company. He ended his college career with a senior voice recital in May of 2025. He likes bagels and coffee.

💖💖Anna-Scott Davis💖💖
Anna-Scott Davis is a rising senior at Western Carolina University and is debuting as Regina George in Mean Girls here at Bigfork! She is so excited to spend her summer here in Montana working as Eulalie Mackechnie Shinn in Music Man various roles in Newsies and Young Frankenstein. She can’t wait to get started and meet everyone!

Arden Quagliano is from Greensboro, North Carolina and is currently a rising Junior MT at WCU’s School of Stage and Screen. She is so excited to make her Bigfork debut this summer playing Marion Paroo in The Music Man, Medda Larkin in Newsies, and ensemble in Young Frankenstein and Mean Girls! She cannot wait to start working with the wonderful people at Bigfork and put on some killer shows.
