This weekend, Cody Canada & The Departed join Reckless Kelly at the Old Saloon for a lineup that brings together a whole lot of history from the Texas and Oklahoma music scene.

Most of you know Cody as the frontman of Cross Canadian Ragweed, but The Departed has built a catalog and following all its own over the last 15 years. Getting Cody and the guys together with Reckless Kelly down the valley is one of those bills that just makes sense.

And in case you missed W***y Braun’s announcement yesterday, Jeff Crosby is joining the fun as a special guest, too.

But he also snuck a little news in there: Jeff Crosby will be joining Reckless Kelly and Cody Canada & The Departed as a special guest at the Old Saloon.

Saturday night in Paradise Valley was already looking pretty damn good.

If Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly and the music that came out of that era have been part of your soundtrack over the years, you probably don’t need us to explain why this one’s worth the drive.

Who else is ready to sing along to every word of “Amazed” this Friday night?

Lonestar is headed to Bridger Brewing in Three Forks for a Montana summer night full of songs you’ve probably known by heart for years. From “I’m Already There” and “What About Now” to “No News” and, of course, “Amazed,” this one is going to be a whole lot of fun live.

Cash Muretta will get the night started, so come early, grab a Bridger beer and settle in for one of the final shows of the Summer Concert Series.

Reckless Kelly spent three decades playing hundreds of shows a year and building one of the most respected careers in Americana and Texas country music. Now that they’ve pulled back from traditional touring, every chance to see them feels a little more significant.

This summer, they’re returning to the Old Saloon in Paradise Valley for one of those rare shows. They’ll be joined by Cody Canada & The Departed, led by Cross Canadian Ragweed’s Cody Canada, making this a night that brings together two of the most influential acts to come out of the Texas and Oklahoma music scene.

There are plenty of places a band could choose to play when they’re only spending a handful of nights on the road. We’re pretty damn excited that Reckless Kelly chose this one.

Fresh off the Robert Earl Keen tour, Coleman Jennings also just opened three shows for Charles Wesley Godwin, including at the Old Saloon on Friday night. He's also on the lineup for both AmericanaFest and Austin City Limits this fall.

Rob Baird makes his return to Montana on Tuesday. Some of you may remember that he recorded a live album at Live From The Divide about a year and a half ago because he loves it here so much.

🔥 The Droptines... well, there's a reason it's sold out. IYKYK.

And then there's Ray Benson 🤠

Ray is the founder and frontman of Asleep at the Wheel and has been making music for more than 55 years. He's also friends with just about every legend in Texas music, from Willie Nelson and George Strait to the Braun Brothers and so many more. He used to host The Texas Music Scene, which is how a lot of us here in Montana discovered new Texas and Red Dirt artists and figured out who we wanted to bring up for rodeos, boat floats, Red Dirt on the Range, and everything in between.

If you've ever heard Ray tell a story, you know he's just as entertaining between songs as he is during them. Jason has promised a unique twist on the traditional Live From The Divide format, giving Ray even more time to share the stories behind the songs. I have a feeling this one's going to be really special.
