Hodges Fine Art Our gallery features Bronze Sculptures by Artist Dave Hodges. Contemporary and historic fine art, Navajo weavings, SW Jewelry and Plains Indian artifacts.

This gallery has been in operation since 2001 at this Main Street location in Big Timber, MT. We carry an ever changing inventory of contemporary as well as historic artwork by noted artists. We have many oil paintings, watercolors, batiks, and etchings at all times. The largest collection of Hodges Bronzes are also available with over 100 in stock at all times. A wide variety of Navajo weavings i

s always on hand, always at least 40 to choose from, with some collectables as they become available. We carry SW jewelry, basketry, and pottery. There always a selection of vintage/collectable northern plains Indian beadwork, Crow, Blackfoot, Cheyenne, and Sioux. As a side-line, we raise registered Texas Longhorn Cattle for close to 40 years. Navajo pottery is distinguished by its simple and undecorated design. The pottery is fired in an outdoor pit, usually fueled by juniper, cedar or sheep manure. A melted pitch is applied to the pottery while it is still hot, which gives it varied colors of brown and tan, as well as a glossy, waterproof finish. It has a primitive look, and that is part of its appeal! This bowl is 5.25” wide x 2.5” high, now available at the gallery.
