Congratulations Two Rivers Artist Allie Louise Parker for the stunning May cover of American Art Collector! Allie’s pastel “Heart and Soul” captures the delicate sheen of the equine coats along with the gentle spirited nature of this spectacular duo. Allie Louise Parker and Chase DeForest have an upcoming show at Two Rivers Gallery this summer! The opening is July 31st 5-7pm.

Raised on a working horse ranch, Shirle Wempner draws her artistic voice from the land that shaped her. Nature is not just her subject—it’s her language. From wildlife and ranch life to figurative and sweeping landscape scenes, Shirle paints with an instinctive appreciation for the outdoors that began in childhood and continues to evolve.
Her bold brushstrokes, expressive palette knife work, and vibrant color invite the viewer into the moment—leaving space to feel the story unfolding within each piece.
As Shirle and her husband, fellow artist Thomas English, close one chapter and step into their next great adventure, Shirle is clearing out her studio. **All works are 50% off through January**—a rare opportunity to collect her work at an exceptional value.
