We are so excited to get back to doing what we love! As we gear up for a busy season, we want to share some important updates regarding Michigan State Body Art Licensing standards, elevated safety measures, and exciting news at the shop!

🆔 IMPORTANT: Policy for Minors (Ages 10–18)
To remain fully compliant with Michigan Body Art Licensing laws, we strictly enforce identification requirements for all minor clients. No exceptions will be made by any artist.

For ALL minors receiving a piercing, you MUST provide:

Minor's Photo ID: A physical State ID or a current School ID (from within the last year).

Minor's Birth Certificate: Original or official document required.

Parent / Legal Guardian: Must be present with a valid government-issued Photo ID to sign consent forms in person.

🚫 ABSOLUTE ZERO TOLERANCE: Digital pictures on phones or photocopies of IDs/birth certificates will NOT be accepted. Physical IDs only!

We have available time for walk in tattoos today! We are still waiting to hear back from the Health Department on the final say for us to start piercing again but it should be any day now! Thank you all for being patient with us! 🙏🏽

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported PRIDE Big Rapids today! It was another successful year, we are sorry if we couldn't get to everyone who had stopped in today! Hope to see everyone again next year! With a bit better planning, cause let's be honest this year snuck up on us and we have had a lot of other stuff going on! 🙏🏽

We will be hosting a Pride Flash Event during Pride Fest this year downtown on Sunday June 28th from 12pm to whenever business dies down. If this event gets busy, we will be taking our last clients for the night at 7:30 before closing for the day, so get in early if you would like to be apart of this super fun event! We hope to see everyone there 🫶🏻
