It really is fun getting to brighten the lives of others with my artistic ability! Lucky me! I got to face paint at this fun event in Monticello celebrating Dia De Muertes, (Day of the Dead) a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion. It was so fun getting to see the beautiful traditional dresses and pretty floral headpieces that many of the girls wore. A big thank you to my daughter Ella and my neighbor Steve for giving me a hand with face painting!
