Co-founders Nathan Curran, Paul Roy, and Buzz Gordon have been making audiences laugh since Nov 2023.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce this Wednesday will be our final Open Mic at Mulligans, as they will be closing their doors this Sunday.

Over the past two and a half years, we’ve come a long way together. A whole community grew around that small brick wall in the back of the bar — a place where laughter echoed, friendships formed, and countless jokes lived their first life. Those echoes will outlast the closure, and we hope they carry us into whatever new adventure comes next.

This is not the end of The Comedy Mill. It’s a relocation, a transition, a new beginning. We already have opportunities in the works to keep bringing Biddeford the local laughs it deserves. Change is hard, and new beginnings take time, but we’re not going anywhere.

Paul, Nathan, and Patrick have had an absolute blast bringing you comedy week after week, and we’re sad to see this chapter close.

Please join us Wednesday for our final Open Mic and Friday for our Benefit Show supporting Kenny Pirkola after his traumatic accident.

We love you all, and we’re proud of what we built together.

Our dear friend, Kenny Pirkola , was recently involved in a serious snowboarding accident. He was airlifted to Maine Medical Center and placed in an induced coma to allow his traumatic brain injuries time to heal.

One thing we know can help the healing process is laughter—and the strength of community. To support Kenny, we’ve organized a benefit show, with all proceeds going toward his upcoming medical expenses.

The evening will include raffles for tickets to future shows, merchandise for sale, and, most importantly, a chance for all of us to come together and share some laughs in support of a great friend.

Please join us next Friday at Mulligans to show your support for Kenny in any way you can. We hope to see you there.
