We started this venture in 2001 so the kids could continue to have a place to hang out and have fun. So many towns have closed their skating rinks and our town has been fortunate enough to still have one.
It has been very rewarding through the years to watch all the kids ( including our daughter Chelsea and grandkids Molly &Gunner)grow, listening to stories from different ones of their younger years at the rink, kids celebrating birthdays, school functions, church groups, family reunions, and more.
We want to take this time to thank all who helped us through the years in making this business a success, but after 21 years, alot of discussions, tears, tears and more tears from our daughter Chelsea and grandbabies Molly &Gunner, we decided it is time to close The Skate Zone.

This is not the way we want to start out our 20th season at The Skate Zone!!! We have been getting many calls on our reopen date, we normally reopen after labor day, this year will be pushed back....saddens us to have to make the decision, but with the Covid cases rising we feel it is the safest and healthiest decision to watch how the remainder of the year goes.....stay safe and be healthy!!!! We look forward to updating you all on a reopen date!!! Mark and Amy

Praying everyone is staying safe during this pandemic!!! The Skate Zone will be Closed until further notice. Kids and parents hang in there, play games, watch movies, work puzzles, and most definately get some fresh air, keep your distance and be safe!!!! Mark & Amy

We have had several calls.....this is The Skate Zones schedule.....we are OPEN tonight regular hours.....if you are concerned, please keep your children at home.....we are following NK and other local schools.....we will be CLOSED the following 2 fridays.....we feel it is the right choice to help in the prevention/spread of this virus.
